Privacy policy
This website asks for one thing: your first name and email, so we can send your early-access link to NAX. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and shows no ads. We never sell your information. You can ask us to see it, fix it or delete it at any time.
Who we are
The Neuroplasticity Gym and its app, NAX, are products of MVMTLAB Inc.
MVMTLAB Inc.
28, av. de la Gare, bureau 202
Saint-Sauveur (Québec) J0R 1R0
The person responsible for protecting personal information is Dr. Jeff Almon. Write to him at [email protected].
This policy covers this website and the early-access list. The NAX app will have its own notice and its own consent screens when you install it.
What we collect
Only what you type into the early-access form:
- your first name;
- your email address;
- the way in you chose: Free, Pro or Clinic patient;
- your confirmation that you are 16 or older;
- whether you ticked the news box. It starts unticked.
We ask no health questions on this website.
Pre-registration opens once our privacy impact assessment is complete. Until then, the form saves nothing. From then on, it saves exactly the items above.
What we don't collect
- No cookies.
- No analytics or audience tools.
- No tracking pixels.
- No advertising, and no advertising profiles.
We make no decisions about you based on profiling or on where you are.
Why we use it
- To send you your early-access link when your way in opens.
- To send you news about the Neuroplasticity Gym, NAX and the book, only if you ticked the news box.
We use your information for nothing else. We never sell it, rent it or trade it.
News emails
We send news only with your express consent. Every news email names the sender, gives our mailing address and has a one-click unsubscribe link.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. We act on it within 10 business days.
Service providers
We may use an email service to send messages and a hosting service to run this website. They process your information only on our instructions, under a written agreement.
These services may store information outside Québec. Before any transfer outside Québec, we complete a privacy impact assessment, as Québec law requires. We send information only where it will be protected adequately.
Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website and stores pre-registrations in its storage service. That storage may be outside Québec. We don't store your IP address with your pre-registration. The email service will be named here before we send any email.
How long we keep it
Proposed: we delete your information 24 months after our last contact with you, or sooner if you ask.
If you withdraw your news consent, we keep only what we need to respect that choice.
How we protect it
Access is limited to the people who need it to send your link or our news. Information is encrypted in transit. If an incident creates a risk of serious harm, we will tell you and the authorities, as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the information we hold about you;
- correct it;
- withdraw your consent;
- delete it, or stop spreading it (de-indexing);
- give it to you, or to another organization, in a common technological format (Québec).
Write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to:
- in Québec: the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec;
- in British Columbia: the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia;
- elsewhere in Canada: the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Age
Early access is for people 16 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If we learn we have, we delete it.
The NAX app, when it is released
The app will have its own privacy notice and consent screens at install. In short:
- Video from the camera check is processed on your phone. It never leaves your phone.
- Your hold times and minutes are stored with your account.
- Clinic patients link NAX with a clinic code. Their answers go to the clinic's own computer over an encrypted private connection. There, the clinic's privacy policy and its professional record-keeping rules apply.
- Health information is never used for advertising.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we post the new version here with its date. If a change affects how we use information you already gave us, we tell you by email first.
